1. Preface
According to a Statistical Tables released on January 17, 2013 by the Census and Statistics Department of the Hong Kong S.A.R. government, it shows that the average weekly working hours in the last quarter of year 2012 for male workers is 48 hours, and 45 for female workers (A1) while the World’s average 44.6.
To compare with the neighboring countries in Asia-Pacific region and around the World, Hong Kong has the seventh longest working hours in the World, just ranked
