clones.
As seen in the scene in the beginning the clones are lowest set because, they have to take order from higher ups and are expendable the leaders don’t care how many clones die they just want the mission to be successful.
Finn breaks this enigma of clones being told what to do without hesitation as he was fighting and he revolted against The First Order. Finn later joins the resistance and is instantly recognized as a great asset because he helped work on the Starkiller Base knowing it’s weak points. He didn’t Move up any ranks but he was given a position right away because of what he has done and how many people he saved.
The New Republic is a lot more like the Social classes we have now. They are dependent on wealth and services to others. One such example is how in the Maz Kanta’s Watering hole everyone had a “job” they would go out to space and salvage things and then return home to sell them for a decent price or trade them for better things. This shows that you work for what you get and it was manned around the New Republic. In the republic if you held a certain amount of power you could be voted to the top but depending on how that power is used is whether or not you were secured a position or if you ended up joining the Dark Side. The Social system is something that keeps evolving as humans become more and more aware of their surroundings and what makes life the easiest. Like in star wars the social standing is always changing for one side while the other is trying to stick out its plan for ever. Social classes will always exist but humans will not always be on top. In Star Wars every person or creature is an equal and treated
likewise.
