There are more than 3000 international students each year that study at Paris X. The University of Paris X gives specific services designed to help students find the information they need while abroad. These services are intended to facilitate administrative and personal formalities. The purpose of this mission is to develop and organise international research in coordinataion with the Department of International Relations, research centres doctoral schools.
Particular focus is made on developing partnerships at the European level to further integrate research teams into European networks and programs.
The University is in the process of hiring qualified staff to lend researchers advice and logistic support in putting together proposals and following through with their projects. distributing information on international research programmes, academic cooperation programmes and mobility. Students who have taken advantage of this opportunity never regret it, but instead come away with a sense of having broadened their horizons, achieved greater independence, a more open mind and an adaptability that will help them successfully enter the job market.

The new LMD diplomas
The diploma system has a three-stage structure. There is a different university level for each of these stages:
1st stage: Bachelor's degree level
2nd stage: Master's degree level
3rd stage: Doctorate level

The University is equipped with facilities and infrastructure for cultural activities e.g.
The University sports centre is equipped with specialised exercise rooms and an Olympic size swimming pool. It is possible to accommodate many student demands in artistic and cultural areas and enhances the stature of the university.
The University Department of Physical Fitness and Sports Activities offers the entire University community a great number of physical fitness and sports activities: water and outdoor sports (swimming, scuba-diving), individual sports, team sports (basketball, volleyball), dance and performance arts (ballroom dancing, Latin dances, mime, theatre, etc.)
Welcoming foreign students and organising study abroad for University of Paris X students is part of the work done at the Department of International Relations.
