State Championship: A Fictional Narrative

It was a crisp Autumn morning with a cool breeze in the air. Nothing else but softball was on Peyton's mind. It was the day of the State Championship, the final day to play, and if they lost two times they’re out of the tournament, and her team would have to go home. Her team is called the Bandits they haven’t lost a game yet. Peyton had a moment to think, while she was lying in her bed, her mind was wandering off to when here team would win the game. Soon after she drifted off she hopped out threw on her teams red and grey uniform, and ran into the car. When she got in she placed her headphones on her head, then played her team song “T.N.T.” by her favorite band ACDC. It had taken a long hour in the car to get to the freshly prepared field, but that made Peyton even more pumped. “CLACK CLACK” Peyton stepped out of her Dad’s car with metal scraping the ground making a unmistakable noise.
“Dad, Look! "Peyton uttered.

“It’s just what?" the coach asked, with confusion in his face. He was a tall man with a brown stubbly face, but wore a hat over his bald head. He always cared for his players, and felt poorly when he made them sit.
“Lauren on the other team yelled out a mean remark, which was how I would mess up, and now I feel like I’m going to do that, so I do,” The sadness upon Peyton’s face got to the coach, and so the coach stopped the game.
“Blue, can I talk to you, we have a player on the other team said a mean remark to one of my players on the bench, in the middle of the game, and I would like to remind you, none of that talk is allowed,” the coach said firmly knowing it was the right thing to do.
The umpire approached the dugout, and asked Peyton this quick question, “Is this true?" Peyton nodded her head, because she did not feel like talking at the moment. “Then who said it?” the ump questioned in return to the nod he had been
