Success is never an accident, but is always by design. I believe perseverance, drive, passion and strength of character create the right formula for success. I schooled at one of Asia’s premier institutes, Mayo College Girls School. I was thrilled to discover myself here – playwright, artist, cross country runner, accomplished dancer, webdesigner and most importantly a leader, having led my teams to success in a variety of events. I have been active in extra curricular activities and as the assistant editor of school newsletter and a student council member I have held noteworthy posts in school. Living with people from various backgrounds here, taught me to absorb the best that each individual and culture has to offer. By the time I left school I had developed an original point of view and confidence and versatility had become an innate part of my nature. I pursued a Bachelors of Mass Media from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. We had practical industry based projects throughout. Be it forming more effective media plans for existing products, making documentaries, doing consumer surveys or designing ads for products, we always had to be innovative and quick witted to be able to perform well. Once we sent forward our findings of de-sync between the company and the consumers view of the Moto phones to the Motorola head of manufacturing. He responded saying, he was extremely impressed with our work and said the company will look into our findings. It was a reward for all our hard work. These group projects taught me to be a team player and increased my awareness. I was able to polish my communication skills and develop an innovative and analytical bent of mind.
