What inspires my art and drives me to make art is the level of communication that you can achieve with it. I see art as an amazing opportunity to express pure ideas and emotions. To me, art and design go hand in hand as a universal language that can be understood by everyone.
These forms of communication can be so simple, yet very complex and can be interpreted through a seemingly limitless number of mediums.
All of these things are what make me want to pursue a life in the design industry. I want to make it my responsibility and my career to communicate things effectively through art and design. 10 years from now, I expect to be situated in a career designing products that people in today's market are passionate about. I have interests in automotive and industrial design as well as architecture, but no matter what specific field I pursue, I see myself incorporating my artistic edge into those products which I will be partially responsible for creating.
I have always been appreciative of that 'capturing aesthetic', which exists in the products consumers strive to obtain. There is a reason why Apple's iPhone sales have far surpassed those of any other brand of smartphone, and the answer is elite aesthetic. I believe I have the skills necessary to incorporate an intended style with a functioning product. In the future, I want to be a part of the original conception of products which express more than just their intended applications; I want to conceive objects which stir emotion and desire.
