“One man’s magic is another man’s engineering. Supernatural is a null word.”
Human needs drive the requirement for the advancement of technology. Innovators come up with various innovative ideas to fulfill the needs of mankind. Engineers though are a bit different. Along with inventing new ideas they also concentrate on sustainable growth of technology for any purpose in the future. I have always been interested in a machine’s working along with its design and also interested in finding its errors. Hence, I was often addressed as the “destructive girl’ at my home. But my parents were very supportive throughout. My father always told me to thrive for my passion and do all things possible to achieve it. Playing with calculators, …show more content…
Education has always been one of my greatest strengths. I have always tried to excel in academics and due to continuous hard work and labor I have always produced good results. I passed 10th grade with 93% marks. According to my interest I took science in 12th grade and got 85% marks. Then I appeared for the entrance examination of my college and was in the list of top 500 selected students. My major strengths have always been my sense of imagination and creativity; which helped me to take a stream that would allow me to properly utilize my strengths and channel them in a right direction. Hence I chose mechanical engineering where I am in the list of top students of the branch with 9.02 GPA out of 10.
In my undergraduate years I learned a lot of interesting subjects and acquired a strong background in the fundamentals of thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics, strength of materials, design of machine elements, theory of machines etc. I have also had an introduction to specified areas like AUTOCAD and …show more content…
I did two industrial training in this tenure of four years approx. The first one was at Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Bokaro for one month. The training was primarily regarding the overview of the entire plant. I got to see the utilization of all the theories that I had studied so far. My second training was at NTPC Limited, Barh for one month. The machines seemed very exquisite and as the mentor went on with the explanations about its working, I became more and more enthralled. I also participated in RC (remote control) car workshop in 4th semester. After the workshop ended, we were given a kit and asked to design our own RC car. I designed a car which completed both the problem statements that were given to us. Presently I am working on a review paper on the topic “structure and flickering of non premixed LPG flame at different fuel flow rate with constant co flow air.” It deals with the flickering of the LPG flame at various rates of fuel flow keeping the counter flow air constant. The experimentation was carried out by varying the volumetric flow rate of fuel and air. Flame image was captured by Prosilica camera and subsequently flame radiation intensity was detected by Photomultiplier tube through data accusation system LabView
