Throughout high school, the four pillars of the National Honor Society – scholarship, leadership, service, and character – have shaped growth, pushing me to learn more each and every day. It gave me a new perspective in life. With a passion to pursue biology, I have spent the last here years actively learning about the human body; from the types of functions it processes to the chemicals in the brain that create emotion. As a student, I understood very early in high school that success is not knowledge that you take in, rather it is the knowledge that one learns and then radiates to others.
