Statement of Purpose (Financial Economics)
Dear Madam or Sir,
I am applying to your two-year Master program in Financial Economics starting in september 2012. In high school I graduated with mathematics as my major. I am continuing my academic career with the study of "International Economic Relations" in Kiev International University.
During the second year of studying I visited China for one year. I am sure this experience will help me all my life to meet any difficulties. Because every day for foreigner in China is a competition.
Till May 17th, 2012 I am taking the internship in marketing department in Unilever Ukraine. When I applied for it half a year ago after two business games (logistic and sales) in Procter&Gamble Ukraine I thought that FMCG sector is rather interesting for me. It still is but now I prefer to think about myself as about financial agent or consultant.
I am researching international experience in the field of economic reforms. The topic of my Bachelor Diploma is Economic reforms in China. Also our article about Georgia economic reforming experience will be published in one of Ukrainian scientific journals. Right now I am studying the history of economic reforms in Singapour.
I've got different sceneries for my future career. As join international Consulting or Financial Group is one of them I am sure your school can help me to make it true. I have some experience in writing tests in Big Four's Companies (Deloitte and KPMG). I clearly understand that my present background can't help me to join this fields. As your Master program in Financial Economics being one of the best in Ukraine for students who want to work in this sector I am looking forward to enter your school.
