Steamboat Research Paper

The Steamboat goes back as long ago as the 1800s to the early 1900s. It has evolved throughout those years. When James Watt improved the steam engine in 1769, sparks began and that's what began the Industrial Revolution. There was some fails made by John Fitch but Robert Fulton was the first to make a successful commercial steamboat. John Fitch made the first successful trial of the steamboat. Fitch’s trial steamboat was forty-five feet long.
The reason that they made steamboats was because they were able to transport or move lots of people at a time from one place to another. They also traveled at a fast 5mph.
