Stereotypes: Diversity Or Inclusion In The Classroom

Back home in Texas we never talked about diversity or inclusion. We would never talk about how people do not conform to gender norms or how they might use different pronouns. I was aware of all of these things because of the internet and I would try to have conversations with people about these things and people would immediately shut me down. Even in my theatre class, we would never talk about any of these things. Coming here is such an amazing change. It seems like most people here are very accepting and willing to listen to what you have to say and even if they disagree with you they would at least give you the time of day to listen. When I was home I needed people to talk to and to have conversations with about these topics, but now that
