The 300 directed by Zack Snyder is the story of the battle between Persians and a group of 300 Spartans. This movie is very stereotypical, with stereotypes such as stasis, deposition, and violence/ignorance. The main stereotype that is seen the most is the stereotype of exoticism, this can seen when the King Xerxes is shown. There is many other stereotypes in the movie but exoticism is the most prominent.

Exoticism is the stereotype where everything about a place, object, or person is amplified to be exotic, for example an place that is thought of as exotic is rich and they have beautiful, dark haired, dark eyed women. This stereotype is portrayed throughout the movie, yet it is very prominent with the character King Xerxes. The character
