Example 1
In this example by the instructions of { Draw a Venn diagram showing the elements of sets A, B, and the universe for all 4 regions. } I have picked two different groups of people who have choose to go see two different country Artist. A- represents : Jason Aldean and B- Represents : Keith Urban who are performing for Rodeo in 2015. The area Shaded in Orange represents the combination of ticket holders who like both and will be going to both concerts. The region or universe around them would be white with blue lines and has no selection of who they are going to listen to.
{ Without this diagram knowing the combinations of ticket holders for each concert it would be hard to know the total Amout. Say that each A represents 1000 people with tickets to Jason aldean and keith urban represents 2000. Then those going to Jason aldean alone would be over 4,000 people. Keith urban would be 6,000. Leaving the center with 3000 as a combination of ticket holders
Example 2
Draw a second diagram showing only the elements of the complement of set A.
The second diagram is only focusing on Jason aldean or shall I say that A and the circle surrounding A. Sorry B invitation only. A is represented in yellow. B represents all the ticket buyers for Keith Urban.
