I was not framilar with it, and did not realzie this sort of injustice was happening. The disproportionate amount of African Americans being stopped was also suprising. It was very clear that this program was racially bias, and it went on for quite some time. I was surprised these officers abused a young man based on the color of his skin. I will never understand what it is like to be a young African American male. So learning through this young mans experince was very benefical for me. When lookig at what I learned about others I relaized there are so many problems in the world that I will never experince, but I like to informaed of them. I also learned about how wrong some officers are willing to use their power to put others down. I hate hearing that officers are bad, but it is important to learn from their mistakes and see what I should not do ( I know I would never be racisit towards someone but their interaction was a good learning
