As mentioned previously, it opens your mind to some things that we easily miss at times during our busy lives. The author states biblical faith is stopping, looking, and listening. Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Our faith alone allows us to ponder, stop, look, and listen. He presents himself, with this book, to be a man of great faith in which he lets all his readers know that he is not without his faith. Hebrews 11:6 – “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” The book’s argument came easy to me when he immediately began to mention his faith and how important it is to him. For the Christian and practically everyone who is honest about the person in the mirror, there should always work to do to improve one’s spirituality. Keeping this in mind that our time here on earth is not long it is important for us to stop, look, and listen to the things that we sometimes take for granted.
