Story Summary: Tyron's Fight For Freedom

“Tyron, get back,” my owner yelled
In the dark town of the 1855 a young boy named Tyron was a slave. His plan is to get to one of 17 free state (4)with his family. Tyron was owned by the meanest slave owner in town. All he did was yell and scream. His family wasn’t, they were owed by a nice lady in a little house by her farm. That is where his wife and two kids are and they plow and seed her farm and they are treated well unlike me. This is a story on how Tryon and his family try to get free and save the rest of their town’s people and never look back.
The fields get hotter as the days gets longer, and working is not what I want to be doing. My slave owner can do whatever he wants to do with me (3). The United States is split up into groups free and slave (1) and it is hard being a slave it is terrible.(1) All I do is work for my owner, as he makes it harder. This is it I am going to get my family and I free, there are many different route of the Underground Railroad.(3)I am in eastern shore of Maryland which is one of
the 15 slave states (3) and i am going to new york, 18 teen africans have made it and i am going to be 19, (2) and all I need is my family.
I am done I am leaving tomorrow the 17(1) I told myself. After I get my wife and two sons Todd and Tyvent , we are leaving . It is a lot of trouble leaving but doing this could get my family killed.(2) The chance of making it to a free state were slime 1000 other people made it to a free state (3)and did not get caught so we can to if you got caught you would be chained together with other slaves (4). When we make it, i hope i can get a job as a conductor,as soon as possible because many other slaves got a job as a conductor when they got to the free states.(2) I need this job so can support my family and give them a good life. It will help them grow and be better at doing things they could not do at maryland and that is good.
We are 2 miles away from New York, our legs are killing us, and it has taken us 3 months to get to here .
Before we go any further, we are going to stay at a black lady’s house tonight, and she is wanting us to feel like we’re home and for us to stay awhile. On the way you can stay with people to get freshened up and ready to go again.(4) She had the right pattern quilt outside saying that she was good.(3) She told us she will cook and clean whatever we need that is really nice because we had to do that forever. We want to make it to new york tomorrow, and it is looking good. Mrs williams made us food to take on the road and it is coming in handy. The resources were limited on the road.(2)all we have to eat is berries and apples (2) and that is it. It is hard but we are not stopping now we have come to far to stop. Only 1 mile left and it is close. We have two more big hills and we will be there i can't wait. The first gilps is
amazing.
We have made it and it is beautiful . It took longer than what we wanted, but we are so glad we made it to new york safe and sound. We have a house,and I got a job as a conductor and we are so happy we did this trip. This is better for my family and I since no more slave time.We are planing on what to do with what we have. We need to get food as the we get the other things to live.when need to get clothes and shower stuff to look nice. We are going to be here for ever, and it is looking good for us. To day i am getting the house a new porch. It is all wood and mattel. We have meet 10 people that have made the railroad journey and have been here for years. That is really good to know that they are here like us. We have a lot of food water and clothes this is amazing to know we were once slaves and now we are free.
