It makes the eyes stops at the same time focusing on one object, so two conflicting images are sent to the brain at the same time. In normal situation, our both eyes focus on the same object and transmit only one image to the brain (Yaldo Eye Center, 2012). Even though extraocular muscles are small, they are very strong and efficient. This kind of muscles works as to turn or rotate an eye about its vertical, horizontal, and antero-posterior axes. It consists of medial rectus, lateral rectus, superior rectus, inferior rectus, superior oblique and inferior oblique (Montgomery, 2006). When we are focusing on something, all these muscles on both eyes are works together in order to move the eyes in every different direction.
