Unit Description
Strategic Management answers interesting questions. Among them: Does the industry or the firm matter most? What is the shape of capitalism now? Does it benefit small firms more than large firms? Why are franchises so successful? Does leadership matter? Strategy is a theory driven yet practical subject. It emphasises a global perspective and engages you in reading about the shape of advanced capitalism. You will learn how to analyse organisations and the world in which they operate. The essays you have to research and write mean that you also learn how to analyse and integrate intensive and wide ranging strategy research. It is a great learning
