The Strategic Sport Marketing Process

The strategic sports marketing process includes the 5 P’s of marketing; price, place, product, promotion and public relations. While researching the New England Revolution, New York Red Bulls, New York Knicks and the Detroit Piston websites I found many similarities and differences with each team’s website.
Price
Similarities: All four websites have good pricing mechanisms for their fans to purchase tickets through each individual website. All four teams have the same options as it pertains to the ability to purchase season, single, group or mini-pack tickets. Each website makes the ticket option a focal point at the top left corner of the drop down menus.
