INTRODUCTION

Congratulations with your acceptance on the Programme of Advanced Strategic Management. You were accepted because your application indicated that you have already completed a course in strategic management and that your experience in business prepared you to move to the next level of complexity in the field of strategic management. We are convinced that you will find the content of this programme interesting, stimulating and challenging but most of all very valuable. The programme draws on your previous experience and/or qualifications in Strategic Management to offer you a unique programme that addresses the need for a practical, integrated course in Strategic Management at a higher level than existing offerings. This programme is offered online. This letter is the only study material you will receive in hard copy as all our future communication will be done electronically via myUnisa and e-mail. The purpose of this letter is to serve as a short orientation guide that will offer guidelines as to how to start your studies.
