He or she is responsible for beginning the game with a face-off between the two teams. The referee has the right to call outs, confirm goals, settle disputes, and issue penalties. Street hockey is played between three fifteen-minute periods. Each team gets two time outs, and a time out lasts one minute. The referee’s whistle is the call for an official
