StrengthsFinder Reflection
My five strengths are; 1) Includer 2) Empathy 3) Belief 4) Responsibility 5) Woo. I feel that the StrengthsFinders test somewhat accurately described my strength of “Includer”. I suppose that I could be an includer in the sense that I do evangelize every so often. I also lead a bible study for high schoolers and I like to promote participation from everybody. Sometimes it is hard for me to understand the feelings that others have, but when I can relate I know exactly how they feel, so empathy makes some sense to me why it is there. I believe that I have strong core values so it is surprising to me that belief is not my number one strength. I do like to take ownership of what I commit to, so responsibility doesn’t surprise me. I believe that God has called me to be a pastor in the church, so belief and woo inspire me to build on those areas. I want to work on responsibility more, even though it is my strength I feel that sometimes it could be a weakness. I want to travel and take pictures and videos for my church, the church I attend is called Victory Outreach and we are an international inner city ministry with churches planted in many different countries. With good social skills like Woo, I don’t think I should have any trouble making new friends or building relationships. Based on my strengths I think that the best kind of person I could work with is someone who is shy and open to try new things. I am not too social when it comes to large groups of people, but when I’m alone with a few people I could probable get them to open up. Seeing my resulting five strengths I’m inspired to work on those strengths and live up to them. I think I’ll make a chart with five columns, one for each strength. And at the end of the day I’ll mark what kind of strengths I displayed and which ones I didn’t. I look forward to working on my
