Stress In Law Enforcement
The trust of all human connections, we as the people should know that our officers are also in a lot of stress in today's society. The pressures of law enforcement put officers at risk. We as the people must remember that without laws we cannot walk the streets and live in this beautiful country. I know that policing is psychologically stressful for them. I know it's sad when I see most African Americans getting shot by officers, when they are unarmed it's tragic, but we must also think maybe our officers are suffering from post-traumatic stress and they are not getting the help they need. I do not think a police officer who has a loving family will go out with the intentions of killing someone that day unless the police agencies are hiring
mentally ill people. We also must remember that our officers are in a lot of danger in bigger cities because the crime is to hard to control. I do believe that if a police department ethics are not right they do need to be investigated by the FBI, and the head guy in the police should be looked at very closely. No one should die under any racial situation it's tragic. There also should be some respect for the police officers that are here to serve and protect. we must remember that if there were no order our country will feel like a third world country and, I would not like to live like that. I think all this is a CRY for help from our police officers that are under paid risking their life and need more help on the streets. The reason why I write this is because, I lived in the bad part of LA and saw almost anything people planning to kill cops, and some people do don't respect the law in their area because they control the area, and cops are more in danger when there are dangerous people out there. I feel for the families of the victims and I also feel for the wife's and children of the police officers that are sent to jail it is a lose,lose situation. A quote from Martin Luther King
