1. Families can feel that the therapist hold all the power in the process of therapy. If the family is dysfunctional it is the therapist that determines this and restructures the family structure. This could be problematic especially if the parents have little authority over the children, then they are not learning the skills needed if the therapist is in control.

a. Anne and Eddie are in the last development stage with their family, they have grown children who are getting married and having children. They need to reevaluate their boundaries in order to allow individual growth for the children.
8. Strengths
a. The family is a strong system that in the end learns from their mistakes and grows. After time the individuals began to accept change and understanding of each other. Even if one person is having an issue with another there is someone they can talk to about the issue.
c. Limitations of structural family therapy with family
i. Structural family therapy is more for families with younger children, when applying the aspects of the model to the Jenny’s family seeing the boundaries as healthy are not since the children are older, it was hard to put them into a category. Another limitation was the fact that Jenny’s family is only being seen through a movie.
