What machining or manufacturing experience do you have?
As a member of First Robotics I have gained many skills in the fields of manufacturing and machining. I've been involved for four years now where I've contributed my skills to the success of the team and in doing so, prepared myself for future jobs in the engineering field.
Specific experiences that I have from First Robotics include: working with power tools, maintaining a safe work environment, working in a workshop, working as a team, troubleshooting, working in a professional environment, time management and overcoming obstacles.
How have your experiences prepared you to be a participant in the Student Development Tech Prep program?
My experiences have prepared me to succeed as a participant in the Student Development Tech Prep Program as I am well equipped with relevant skills to the program. I am also well rehearsed in working with mentors and always ready to put full effort to an assigned task.
How will you be able to meet the expectations of a student in the program?
Engage in and complete the tasks assigned by Boeing instructor. I am always ready to work on any assigned task and put forth my full efforts.
Be onsite and ready to learn between 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday for the four weeks of the program. My schedule will revolve around this program and I will fully commit to being on time and punctual.
Behave in a safe, courteous, and professional manner consistent with Company expectations. Safety is always my first priority and I always keep a professional and courteous manner with full respect to the company.
Be a self-starter, willing to take initiative, and be a team player. I am always ready to step up and take action in order to complete a goal and I always work as a team player, ready to consider any other perspectives.
Interested in pursuing manufacturing as a career. My current studies include Electrical engineering and Mechanical engineering, both of which will lead me to a career in manufacturing.
Display a commitment to learning and meet Boeing and program expectations. I am ready to commit all of my time and effort towards the goals of the program and plan to exceed the expectations.
