Student Study Abroad
Many students choose to attend schools or universities outside their home countries. Why do some students study abroad? Use specific reasons and details to explain your answer.

In today's world, it is very popular to attend a college abroad. Preferences of students to study in a foreign college vary with the some reasons such as learning a new language, developing themselves as an individual, and experiencing diverse cultures and traditions. In my opinion, above all these reasons one thing stands. The most significant factor for students to select abroad schools is to earn lots of knowledge and experience on a foreign country that people might never learn from anything else.

One reason many students prefer studying abroad rather than staying their home country is the desire of developing themselves as a person. The life is tough when living in a foreign country. They should first learn language in order to communicate well with natives. If they cannot speak well, they do not express their feelings. So people spend much more energy to learn the language abroad than in their home town. In addition, they cope with not only lectures, but also housing works such as cleaning their rooms, cooking, and paying taxes. Dealing with daily affairs makes students more powerful in a foreign country.

Another reason for selecting a foreign school is gathering lots of experiences. For instance, people can get new friendships outside of their home countries, travel ancient places and monuments that they have never seen, and have fun with people from different parts of world. Those are very staggering experiences for abroad students.

Finally, as many prefer studying abroad, they can gain lots of essential information about country's traditions, living style, language, people by living in that country. However, reading from a book or a source on internet cannot provide all these mentioned features of that country.

In short, students go abroad for several reasons.

People relocate all the time. There are many places to choose from. I think that the most common deciding factor is the climate you may like or dislike. You may choose to live in the North where you can enjoy the falling snow and skies strapped to your feet, or down South where you might prefer fun in the sun, and sand between your toes. Though both places can offer different climates, they can also have some similarities. Where would you like to live?…

Studying Abroad has become increasingly popular amongst college students - and for good reason. Studying in a different country can not only help students achieve more in their adult lives, but ultimately change their life for the better from the experience. Adaptation and tolerance is one benefit a student can gain from studying abroad. By living first hand in a unfamiliar place in allows you to learn empathy and understanding from those different from you. Independence and Confidence are traits commonly reported from students who have lived this experience. Typically a student will travel alone of with a few other friends, being put into new, sometimes scary situations that will for them to think differently then they may have before. By encountering these differences they are allowed to better understand not only the challenges other countries are put in, but the challenges of our own country and the world as a whole. The Study Aboard experience has also been reported to be helpful for students with their careers, finding jobs and marketing themselves better to potential employers. The approach of traveling to countries in far corners of the world means students can compare the culture and lifestyles of people in very diverse places - and come to understand what makes us all unique, but how truly similar people around the world are.…

In the first place, the overseas students will face a problem that they have no place to live after they leave an airport. For instance, some students fail to hand in an application for accommodation on time. Therefore, they have to live in a hotel until they find an appropriate place to live. In the second place, international students always start their trip without necessary things. Especially, students come to their new home just with some clothes. Thirdly, different countries have different approaches to learning. Students may become very unfamiliar with new learning styles. ARGUMENTATIVE ESSAY: STUDYING IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY IS NOT WORTHWHILE If you have a chance, where would you prefer to study, in a foreign country or in Vietnam? Many argue that studying abroad may come with negative influences such as high cost, culture shock and bad living condition. However, it is my contention that there are many advantages to study abroad that you can never get in Vietnam. Critics of oversea study may say that students studying abroad have to pay high cost for tuition and living. For example, the average cost in Oklahoma, one of lowest cost of living in the US is about 1500$ a month. This is a high cost for Vietnamese people who earn about 500$ to 1000$ on average. There is no denying this; however, students will contact a plenty of advanced educations from the whole world. It means that they can enjoy good and modern facilities. Students study in small classes with from fifteen to twenty students, use modern libraries which have many kinds of books and materials for studying or make experiment in the best labs. Furthermore, students also have a chance to reach the latest academic theories and teaching methods that improve their knowledge a lot. Another argument against studying in foreign countries is that most international students go through is culture shock. When students go to study abroad they are living somewhere very different and may come across many troubles such as different food, religious and local custom. There is some truth in this argument, but study abroad allows you get to learn another culture first-hand. A person's culture reflects very deep perceptions, beliefs, and values that influence his or her way of life and the way that she or he views the world. Students who overcome their culture shock will truly understand where other cultures are coming from and overwhelm them easily. Other critics of studying abroad also claim that in a foreign country most international students are forced to deal with the…

The second reason is studying by exchange. I strongly believe, this possibility is even more interesting and exciting, than simply studying abroad. Of course, you have to study well, to be everywhere in the university, to take part in all activities, but the result would please you. For instance, I have a friend, who is studying in China now. She really studied hard, not only subjects in the university, but also Chinese language. She participated in university’s activities, had Scorina’s scholarship.
