In these few decades, technology has transferred from nothing to a huge source of information and a way of life. The kind of mobile computer have spread widely and became one of the most important aspects in life especially for the new generation. Smartphones can help teenagers in their social life, studies and even serious problems or issues.

Smartphones help teenagers to communicate with their friends outside schoolyard. They can share important moments and keep up to date using social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, twitter and many more. These social networks can help them be more social to the people around and have no problems dealing with people.

Another important aspect is educational. Smartphones mainly help teenagers to exchange their ideas and information among each other. It units them to solve problems, focus and understand more by helping each other as shyness to ask is rarely found between friends. For example, teenagers can create a group in any of the social media to share files related to their studies or ask each other questions in order to clarify something that is linked to what they are studying.

Finally yet importantly, teenagers are exposed to crimes as raping, kidnapping or murdering is spreading, teenagers can contact their parents in case any problem is occurring at that time for faster reaction from the parents.
In a nutshell, smartphones are one of the most important features that is going to benefit teenagers specially nowadays as its their time to shine with technology.

In modern times, it is a rational speculation to say nine out ten teenagers own a cell phone of some type. It is also within reason to say that cell phone use has doubled in the past ten years and will most likely double again ten years from now. Teens nowadays are much more tech friendly than their parents due solely to the fact that they have been surrounded by technology ever since birth. Also, the human brain learns much quicker when it is young. During those early years, it is important for teens to learn skills such as responsibility and good communication. As cell phone technology continues to advance, the human race will eventually use a cell phone for just about anything.…

Fate is defined as a force that predetermines events, it is the inevitable events that are destined by this force. Romeo and Juliet's fates were intertwined from the moment of their birth, their families driven by hate are punished when the two young lovers fall in love and take their own lives. If fate is real then there was nothing that anyone could have done to help these star-crossed lovers from their path. Although fate had made them follow the path it paved for them, it didn’t physically make them take their own lives, simply the implications of their actions that fate pushed upon them had influenced this decision.…

While I agree with some of Twenge’s points about young children not needing to have access to these devices at such a young age, I don’t feel that we need to look at smartphones as a detriment to society as kids grow into their highschool and college years. Twenge mentions how “there’s not a single exception. All screen activities are linked to less happiness, and all non screen activities are linked to more happiness.” While I understand that smartphones defnietly have their drawbacks, I personally feel that there are many exceptions. Smartphones when used in the right ways can be enjoyable and vital to the society that we know and live in. I understand how it can also be harmful, but you cannot just ignore all of the benefits that come along with them. They are a helpful tool that allows us to do a variety of things. From being able to connect with friends and relatives from across the world with ease, to accessing a massive database to learn about anything in a matter of seconds. Without smartphones, making it through a modern college course or even high school class would be next to impossible. With various email and text alerts that are associated with classes and the college, you need to constantly be up to date with everything to make sure that you do not fall behind. This is only able to be accomplished when people have…

The usage of cellular devices has increased the amount of connections and decreased the amount of space; being so connected, our emotions are constantly changing, and I believe this has caused a wider range of emotion that swings from Cloud Nine to the deepest, darkest places. Social media can be rewarding but also devastating, yet, despite this devastation, we teenagers cannot help but use it. With this in mind, it is evident that smartphones have aided in creating a completely new generation, and while it may have many negative aspects, it is not destroyed. It is different, and I refuse to say we are destroyed because we have the ability to call to action.…

Technology can help you keep close friendships with friends who move away or with relatives who do not live near you. "You can watch your baby cousin grow up via Instagram and stay- up-to-date on hundreds of people at once" ("Is Technology Killing Our Friendships?"). You can share daily experiences with photos on social media sites like Instagram or Snapchat, unlike with the time lag of writing letters and mailing them. Facetime is a good way to connect with people if you aren't able to see them face-to-face. Additionally, with heavy homework loads and busy extracurricular activity schedules, teens don't have time to physically be with their friends. Furthermore, in most families, both parents work and aren't available to transport their kids to friends' houses. "These platforms help people stay connected like never before" ("Is Technology Killing Our Friendships?"). Through digital communication, teens can still check in with their friends electronically, while having busy schedules. Communicating on electronic devices allows you to engage with friends and family in real time at anytime.…

To begin with, cell phones make it possible for students to stay in touch with family and friends. A student can call home and ask a family member to bring them a forgotten assignment or lunch money or to come pick them up if they are sick. Also, cell phones allow parents to keep track of their children’s whereabouts before, during, and after school. And, there’s always the possibility of a student needing to contact a parent because of a dangerous situation. Students can also connect with friends, but not just because it’s a fun thing to do; we can text or email our friends when they are absent to let them know what’s going on in class and to let them know of any homework. When used responsibly, a cell phone can be an excellent communication tool.…

Kids these days get a great deal of school work online and if they don’t have a computer or a tablet then they can use their phone to do homework at their house or in the car or other places. Kids also might need this to contact a partner for a school project to set up a time when to meet up and work together, and if you leave your homework at school you could ask a friend to send you a picture and you can print it out. Now kids should be responsible and remember their work but just in case they have a phone to communicate and touch base and save themselves.…

In 2008, CTIA and Harris Interactive conducted a survey of 2,000 teenagers across the United States. The survey revealed that four out of five teenagers own a cell phone; they are considered a necessary accessory and a symbol of status among teens. Nearly half of kids who own cell phones get their first one between the ages of 8 and 12 years old, according to the Neilson Company. (1) While cell phones may be perceived as the key to a teen’s social life, the reality is that cell phones represent such a serious health and safety risk for teens that they should be banned from teens until the age of 18. The use of cell phones among teens allows them to harm themselves through inappropriate use, especially through the use of video and camera features. Additionally, cell phone use among teens while driving rivals alcohol use as a cause of automobile accidents. Some parents claim their children have cell phones because it makes them safer. It is clear that the dangers far outweigh any benefits.…
