BioMed manufactures prescription topical cream called DermaPlusTM which is used for treating certain skin conditions. The main buyers of DermaPlusTM are hospitals and pharmacies. The topical cream category is extremely competitive and has led to BioMed’s market share to be small. Due to the size of BioMed’s market share they are unable to influence the market price.…
Because of the time of day and the ideal location of where I am sitting I had the fortune of seeing hundreds of people of which some sat next to me or around me on the benches to rest. Because of my ideal location I would see people coming into the mall and leaving the mall and in that hour saw a vast array of people of every race, creed, color and culture. Off to my left where the video game store is I see small groups of kids and teens hanging out and of the three groups I see one group appears to be into the Goth culture based on the black clothes, make up, hairstyles and jewelry they were wearing. They had 5 teens in their group and there was three boys and two girls and what appeared like flirting and laughing and fun dialogue. The girls were standing there with their arms kind of crossed at their bodies and they both had one leg bent and they were swaying and twisting in the standing position and showing complete…
Puck, instead of squeezing the flower juice on Demetrius and making him fall in love with Helena, he squeezed the flower juice on Lysander who was supposed to be in love with Hermia. When Lysander woke up, he saw Helena so that made him fall in love with Helena. This affects him because he said all of those things to her and was supposed…

Merry Shelly’s Frankenstein shows how Victor ignores many things like his social life, family and most of all his own creation. Victor Frankenstein ignores the creature completely; he doesn’t give the creature any of his attention. The creature tries his best to get Victor’s attention by talking to him first, but when that doesn’t work on Victor; the creature changes his game to violence. Merry Shelly shows that you cannot ignore problems, you can either confront them positively or they will require your attention through negative responses.…
As a returning adult, non-traditional student, something that I find imperative and under-discussed is the transitioning process in which fellow scholars experience. Non-traditional students face challenges that are unlike traditional students. Bridging the gap between one’s pre-existing life and that of enrolling in higher education can be difficult. Often this break may feel like a never-ending balance beam, each variable of life attempting to tip the scholar in many directions. Furthermore, proper time management should be established, and personal relationships maintained.…
By the end of the day Oct. 17, the US Treasury will max out its ability to borrow money and be left only with the cash on hand to pay bills going forward, unless Congress raises the debt ceiling. Otherwise, defaulting on obligations would shake financial markets to a degree not seen since the Great Depression. In this report, we give a structured view of what are the key risks in the financial markets and global environment for the US debt default and verify whether we can risk manage the US debt default.…

With advancements in technology, some students have chosen to complete their schoolwork through the Internet, rather than in traditional classrooms. Those who support a traditional classroom approach to learning argue that it provides more of an opportunity for students to interact with the teacher and other students. Those who feel that learning over the Internet is better argue that it allows students to learn anytime and anywhere they choose. Do you feel education is better provided in traditional classrooms or when offered over the Internet? Write an essay to be read by a classroom teacher in which you persuade the reader that either traditional classroom education or Internet-based learning is better. Being a first generation college student is something that I take great pride in being. The panelists from yesterday radiated pride and responsibility, in upholding their name as a first generation college student. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to them, however, it was hard for me to identify with some of their feelings and attitudes about attending a four-year university. It felt odd for me, as many of my classmates could empathize with how the panelists felt, whereas I, coming from a different background, had trouble pulling from my experiences to understand their previous circumstances.…
In this article " Welcoming a New Generation to College: The Millennial Students". These authors, Elam, Stratton, and Gibson further discuss that, currently the US population is comprised of five generations; the most recent is the millennial generation and are the majority of college students at this time. Parented by the baby boomers, they have been accustomed to parents being very close and concerned with their well-being. Since the generation has been desensitized by media and technology, they are more receptive to it than previous generations. They are also considered hard working and team oriented, due to the development of social media as a norm in the millennia generation.…
“We are a bunch of pussies,” replied Justin Singh-Courtney, a freshman at University California, Davis, to a very simple question: Is our (current college students) generation more sensitive than our parents’ generation? As high schools and college have begun incorporating more trigger warnings, diversity trainings, and awareness days it has become a pressing issue as to the line where sensitivity ends and coddling begins.…
The next study done by Forbus, Newbold, and Mehta (2011) examines the motivation, academic success, and satisfaction levels between first-generation and continuing-generation students that was established between a four-year university. In this research, a questionnaire was given to first-generation students in the marketing department at Sam Houston State University. This experiment also focused on how well these students perform in school depending on their motivation. The research stated, “Research has shown that parental assistance and encouragement is one of the most important indicators of students’ educational desires” (Forbus et al., 2011, p. 6). This ties in with the purpose of the essay, as well as the other studies. During the questionnaire,…
