Study Habit
INTRODUCTION

It is true that the level of student’s learning in academics may be portrayed by the grades he earns for a period of learning has been done. We can say that the grades of a student indicate how much learning he gained. If a learner earns high grades it is concluded that they may also have learned a lot a while low grades indicate lesser learning.

But no students have the same way of studying. Others may have put on really hard in reading books or memorizing statements and definitions while others do not; but in the end they almost have the same grades. This may conclude that we have different styles and habits in gaining learning. Some of us need to be motivated and sometimes rewards could be so useful. While others, on the other hand, treat reading like drinking coffee that they would not waste emotional factors and stuffs to motivate them.

Truthfully, in each student’s study habits, it may be good or bad, these still contributes to the whole aspect of a students’ performance. There are many study habits that we can surely use to have an effective learning. Yes we may be different and our customs in studying may differ but still we use techniques to cope up with lessons we should ponder on.

A learning style is an individual’s preferred way of learning. When an instructor’s style matches a student’s learning style, the student typically experiences greater satisfaction and a more positive attitude toward the course. Thus, students prefer certain methods of learning. And this can greatly affect the performance they would be doing therefore affecting their grades. If they see that their habits is effective, then they will more likely use it thus their grade will be higher. And it is other way around. If they find a style cannot be successful, they would find another way. And finally if we have our own habits in studying, learning would be easier than we think, like what Frank A.
