In my opinion, I think studying abroad is the best way to improve ourselves. As you know, there are obvious advantages to study abroad.
Firstly, we have chance to improve our language. I think nothing is better than to learn language with the native speakers. Because we can practice with the local people what we study at school, so it is very useful to improve our listening and speaking skills. It also offered chances to discover the new cultures, way of thinking, history, customs and lifestyles.
Secondly, we have opportunities to study the new technologies and most recent science achievements. In addition, we are equipped with the valuable and updated knowledge which may help. us find jobs easily after graduating.
However, studying abroad is often expensive. We have to pay not only for our school fees but also for our living cost. Therefore, finance may become the biggest problem. Consequently, it distracts our mind from studying to earning money.
Last but not least, adapting to a new environment is a real challenge for every foreign student. While changing the weather can affect our health, different cultures and customs may influence our mind and make us become less confident or even a victim of discrimination. Sometimes may turn into a struggle for survival in a strange country. If we don’t have enough physical and mental strength, we will fail to adjust ourselves in the new environment. As a result, we could either study or gain beautiful experiences as we have expected.
In conclusion, while studying abroad offers great opportunities for a better future, it also has challenges that we must try our best to overcome what happened to make our dream...

I, have always respected authority, I believe it is always imperative to respect authority, as shortly after I entered the Marine Corps I heard a story about a NCO that told a LCPL to get over here now and he did and right after he moved the berm where he had been standing was shot right where his head would have been. I remember that story from when my gunny told it to me when I first got to the fleet it’s something I don’t think I will ever forget it is one of the things that reminds me every day that it is most important and imperative that I always listened and have instant willingness and obedience to orders. My parents both were military my father was in the Army for twenty one years and he retired as a Sergeant first class in the Army equivalent to the rank of a first sergeant in the United States Marine Corps my mother served honorably in the United States Marine Corps and was a Marine and she retired as a Sergeant and believe me they taught me to respect authority. They taught me to respect all authority whether it be a police officer, military member they even taught me to respect my elders and civilians alike no matter what age race religion or rank I give respect to all even if I don’t get respect back I believe that even though someone is disrespectful to you or to anyone else I still believe that no matter what they say or do they need to be treated with respect anyways I also believe that as long as you give respect you will get respect back and you will be a better person man and Marine because of it. I can remember multiple times in my own childhood that listening to authority rather it be my parents, grandparents police officers military members elders or any other person in authority the outcome would have been drastically different such as the time that when my brother and I were nine and eight and we were living at 606 Milne Street, Rock Spring Wyoming it was a huge lot and our landlords were storing heavy equipment in our yard, and my parents…

In contrast to stressful situations, a study performed by Carlson and Widaman (1988) revealed that studying abroad could be a positive contributor to a student’s international awareness. It also contributes to the development of positive attitudes towards understanding the affairs of international cultures. When entering a new culture, the most important aspect students must have is optimism because it emphasizes on their self-confidence. Optimism and self-confidence work together to help a student be more open to learning and developing new skills that they can use once they leave school. In other words, studying abroad can aid students in the long run and the experiences they come across stay with them for a long period of time. An interesting aspect of culture shock is that it has a reciprocal effect meaning both the student and the host teacher can learn from each other. At times it will take a longer period of adjustment for a student to provide adequate work to a host teacher however it allows the teacher to communicate to the student in a way which supports them and therefore creating the reciprocal effect. Though stress is a negative symptom that leads to psychological distress, it can never be completely avoided and is encouraged in further accelerating a student’s adaption process. Dealing with stress within culture shock gives the student more of an open-mind towards new experiences as they realize it is can be overcome. Psychological adaption and content can also influence the success student sojourners achieve in their host…
