Have you got thrown in the air before?
The first step to stunting in cheer is to warm up you have to run two laps around the building. it will help you warm up, and get blood flow. You can get really hurt it is important to get blood flow for your muscles because of the needs to bring large amount of materials and remove waste products that blood flow increases dramatically during exercise blood flow greater when you exercise the blood vessels in your muscles dilate
Step two is getting to know your position what I mean about this is there are five people in each stunt group that have a position. One position is a front spotter which is the one that helps the bases so not all the weight is on the bases and you have to support the ankles and when you put the flyer in the air you change your position and hold the legs. Another position is a back spotter, the back spotter is the one that protects the butt and thighs. The third position is a main base the main base is the one that protects the foot that the

The flyer can get really hurt it is also good to practice because you will get use to your position and then when the game comes you will just know everything and it just prevents someone from getting hurt and if you practice and mess up in your practice then you can be like oh I need to fix this and it just prevents you from looking bad at the game because you can be doing one stunt and another group is doing another stunt and then you will be like oh wrong stunt we have to do this one and then people from the game could ask you like why were you doing a different stun from the other stunt groups and it just makes you look bad you also need to know your counts because you can either go early or late then everyone else that is why it's important to know your counts for the game and practice

    Rick Reilly Summary

Cheerleaders are athletes too. They practice just as much as everyone else, sometimes even more. They get hurt just like everyone else, but only more severely. In “Sis! Boom! Bah! Humbug!” Rick Reilly attempts to get people of his side of cheerleading as a sport or in his mind not a sport. He does not want girls cheering on the other athletes at sporting events when they could be in the event instead. Rick Reilly conveys his message through a sandwich of logos, pathos, logos statements; this was very effective in my eyes even if at points he turned the majority of readers away with sarcastic anecdotes, but he manages to bring most back through his use of assertions.…

The Genre: You’re familiar with the book and movie reviews that appear in newspapers, magazines, and websites. They are just one kind of evaluative writing, but from them we can identify the key components of the genre. First, there is the object to be evaluated. Often this is a single thing—a music CD, a scholarly study, a corporation—but it can also be an idea or process: the impact of a particular band on rock history, the importance of a new trend in scholarly opinion, or the management practices used by a particular sector of industry. Second, there are the criteria…

The most significant objective you start with is your stance. Your stance starts out with your base. The base is how remote or adjacent your feet are apart. If your feet are close together, then you can get knocked down a whole lot easier than a person with an extensive base could. You also need to bring your dominant foot to the back of the opposite heel. The next step is your three point or two point stance. In my opinion the three point stance is the best because you have weight going forward. Whereas, a two point you have no weight going forward to…

In the dating world today, technology has created complex relationships that were not easily accessible or available before the advancement in user-friendly technologies. Online dating has become a main contender on how a person meets their spouse, but online dating has also created new websites that aren’t about “dating”, but about status and commodification. My research focuses on such relationships, known as sugar daddy and sugar baby relationships in the city of Jackson, MS. A sugar daddy is an older man who has a high income that seeks a younger, attractive women to be his arm candy, his sexual partner, or simply his companion. In return, the sugar baby seeks an older man who can give her an “allowance”, which she may use on bills, rent, tuition payments, or to live a lavish lifestyle. These relationships are complex due to the fact that they do not rely on personality or lifelong companionship as the end result, but are mainly temporary, secret relationships that fulfil certain…

Allstar Cheerleading is not like cheerleading for your school. It is much more excruciating than standing on a sideline, clapping and yelling "Go Team Go!" From experience, Allstar Cheerleaders go through grueling practices of sweating, long periods of conditioning, and lifting people. Yes, i said it, people. Football players condition so that they can run back and forth on a field for a few hours with breaks every couple of minutes. Cheerleaders condition so that they can make it through a to and half minute routine that includes orderly running from formation to formation, jumping in certain ways that require extreme flexibility and muscular strength, as well as lifting girls, the same age and weight as that of the girls lifting them above their heads so that the flyer can pull a motion that takes months to achieve. I don't know if you or a friend have…

Competition cheer is one type of cheerleading. It is usually associated with a gym that teaches tumbling, gymnastics, and cheerleading all in one. Most of the squads have more than one coach such as a tumbling coach, a stunting coach, and a choreographer. Competition cheerleaders have one main objective which is to compete. Since they are competing, the squad must be dedicated to practicing and performing. The cheerleaders do not cheer for other sports such as basketball or football like in high school. They also do not use offense or defense cheers, but they use “competition cheers” instead. Just like being in other sports in school, you must try out to be on the team. Competition tryouts are a lot harder than in high school. You must go through…
