Bank of Ceylon
The saga of Bank of Ceylon (BOC) began on 1st of August 1939 under Bank of Ceylon Ordinance No. 53 of 1938, the Governor of Ceylon, Today having completed more than seven decades of glorious existence, the Bank is firmly entrenched as Sri Lanka’s premier financial services organization offering a broad range of services consists of commercial banking, trade finance, development financing, mortgage financing, lease financing, investment banking, corporate financing, dealing in Government securities, pawn broking, credit card facilities, off-shore banking, foreign currency operations and other financial services. BOC holds the leadership position in its assets, deposits, and foreign currency remittances.
We selected the ad of Bank of Ceylon because of their different way of advertising. Someone can see this as a notice which shows the company progress, as it say “Bank of Ceylon among top 1000 Global Banks”, but we see it is a technique they have used to promote their company. Through this ad they try to build up the confidence and trust among the people, because they said that there bank is among the top 1000 Global Banks. In order to become a world ranking from the bank sector it must have a quality service and hospitality to the consumers, effective work force, resources, etc
They use a picture to the ad, but it is a symbol, this shows some of the very famous land markets in the other countries, BoC says they are the land mark of our country, which everybody knows and pride to the country. And they have the strength to stand with the other jaunts in the world.
When an ad comprised with so much of details will be harm to the ad, but this have only very essential details include, address simple manner and with big letters. So the viewer like to read the notice, and it can give the once with a clear reading. It is a quality of an effective advertisement.

The inevitability of conflict or war in an anarchical system is strongly linked to the idea of survival and security but not only. Realist theorists, especially classic realists, also believe it can be due to the destructive tendency of human nature. In fact, people are viewed as narrowly selfish and ethically flawed, with the intent of achieving self-advantage regardless of others. As Niccolo Machiavelli well describes it in 1532, in The Prince, human nature is inherently evil. Men are always seeking for power and have very strong desires to be better than others. Thomas Hobbes brings the idea of a “state of nature” and supports this idea by arguing that it is a “War of every man against every man” . Thus, greed for power and a strong need…

The advertisement has a very good focal point. When first viewing the advertisement, you are immediately drawn to the photo of the man standing on top of the skyscraper. This photo supports the key message of the ad: that your business can stand out in Rancho Cucamonga. The ad is mostly readable. The color scheme of the ad provides good contrast between the text and the background. For example, the lavender text of the message of the ad can be easily seen on the blue background of the photo. The ad also exhibits good symmetry. The top of the ad focuses on grabbing the reader’s attention, while the bottom of the ad tries to persuade the reader using detailed proof. This use of symmetry also makes the ad look well organized. The preferred audience, corporations looking to relocate, may be more drawn to the ad due to its organization.…
