With a history of drug and alcohol abuse in her family, having been exposed in utero, and witnessing it at a young age from her own mother, the daughter developed her addictions, meth being the most serious of them. Countless trips to rehab, jail, and even the birth of her own children could not sway her away from the needle. Coming from a home where it was always a “look out for yourself” mentality, it would be understandable that she would not see her actions as harmful to others around her, since she had always been on her and had to always look out for
