Successfulness is to Society

As a successful member of the community, we have a responsibility to help those that are less fortunate and contribute to the common good. Investing in your community is a great way to give back to those who have helped support your business. Volunteer groups and non-profit organizations do so much to help the communities that all of us are a part of, but they can’t do it alone.

Artist are a great example for this topic. Investment in the creative industries is an investment in our innovative potential, our health, our humanity, and our education. The arts and creative industries aren’t just the things that make our spare time better, they’re also the therapy to others. An artist learns the principles and factors of art and obtains such an extraordinary talent. To contribute back to the community, they could hold classes for disabled children and/or adults. Those who are disabled struggle to complete task on their own. So, for them to freely express themselves through drawing, painting, etc., they are doing so. There is a tremendous amount of satisfaction and achievement for them when they are able to start and finish a task.

Though I have not yet become financially successful, I still try to give back to my community through my community service. The “Hope Center” in Bushnell, Florida is where I volunteer. The first of the week, we take and organize donations then we open the store on Wednesdays - Fridays for anyone and everyone in need. Most of the time we provide lunch for our customers as well. Helping others, as well as those in need, is something I always strive to do. Also, the Hope Center has prepared my attitude for my future as a nurse. Volunteering at the Hope Center has definitely one of the best decisions I’ve made.
