Summary: A Modest Proposal
A Modest Proposal

FOR PREVENTING HETEROSEXUALS FROM SPREADING THEIR IMMORALITY AND PRO-STRAIGHT AGENDA ANY FURTHER IN THIS GREAT COUNTRY, AND TO ABOLISH THIS PERVERTED PLAGUE ONCE AND FOR ALL.

I believe our society needs to make a few changes in order to secure its future. Perversion is rampant in this country and affecting our ability to raise our children in a healthy environment. Heterosexuals are taking over and it must be stopped. Their ideology is twisted and promotes a sick lifestyle through use of conversion tactics and propaganda aimed at our youngsters. I propose several options that could bring about a normal, healthy society.

First and foremost, order must be established through the ratification of the Constitution:

Heterosexual families should not exist, it's perverted to co-exist with innocent children and practice an unhealthy lifestyle that promotes pedophilia as normal behavior. Children in existing straight households must be removed and placed in temporary housing until the effects of this sickness can be evaluated in them. Of course some will not be salvageable, and will need to be hospitalized indefinitely, in order to protect those that can be saved. The salvageable children can then be placed in healthy Gay households, in order to rid them of any lasting effects of the perversions they were forced to endure. Heterosexuals should also be required by law to be neutered and spayed. This would prevent them from procreating, and stop the …show more content…
Injections have been used during viewing of opposite gender slides in order to cause severe vomiting and diarrhea, thus resulting in a natural aversion to the opposite sex. If done often enough this method has proven useful in curing heterosexuals of their deviant ways. Electric Shock therapy has also been proven useful as a deterrent for deviant behavior. Placing the electrodes on the sexual organs during opposite sex slide shows, and increasing the voltage for each arousal state, has had a proven effect as well. Of course, with any kind of therapy techniques there are a few side effects, and severe illness and even death does occasionally occur. However, the success rate is such that these findings can easily be attributed to the survival of the fittest. For those intent on continuing on their sick path, with no desire to convert, we have no other option other than to bible bash them to

The late 1600s and early 1700s in particular were a difficult time for Ireland. Catholics made up most of the Irish poor who constituted 80 percent of the population and owned less than one-third of the land. As the Protestant English landowners took over in the 1700s, the Irish Catholics dove deeper into lives of famine and poverty. In “A Modest Proposal”, Jonathan Swift presents several claims and supporting evidence that the consuming of the Irish nation’s growing number of children will solve the poverty epidemic as well as decrease religious enemies.…

“A Modest Proposal” is a satirical piece Jonathan Swift wrote to entice the Irish to break away from England. He utilized babies as his hook, talking about eating and using them for clothes or shoes. He wrote examples of how women are the ‘breeders’ and how their babies should be eaten to decrease the population. Also, he uses more examples of how the population would, and has changed. Swift took advantage of the situation at hand and used ghastly examples to get attention. When all was said and done, it was the government that attempted to take control of everything they could, population included. Jonathan wrote about the government corruption, which ties in with how China is run, as well as their own corrupt government. Ireland and China…

Moving factories to other countries is exactly what America’s economy needs. Thousands of people losing their jobs for the selfish greed of the government is just all part of the grand plan to get our country back on its feet. There is no better way to improve the patriotism of Americans than by ripping away their jobs and leaving them standing in unemployment lines for who knows how long. In today’s society what is good and fair is put to the side like a rotten piece of meat. Only fame, fortune, and good times are to be had by all.…

The art of procrastination has troubled high school kids for quite some time now. Im sitting here typing my own essay at the eleventh hour, hoping that as the deadline approaches I can piece together an essay to save my grade. “Procrastination is for the efficient at heart”, this quote captures the procrastinators only strength: the ability to make the most out of the time they have. Most students will crack as the pressure of meeting the deadline with quality work overbears them, as they regretfully wish they spent their time wiser. Few will rise up to the challenge and meet the standards, but what separates the students who succeed and those who miserably fail?…

Although, America believes that we are a nation of equality and acceptance, we are in reality the exact opposite. Not only do major gender inequalities still exist, but society continues to be just as prejudice and discriminatory. With the establishment of the nuclear family, consisting of a heterosexual couple and children, the mentality that heterosexuality is the ideal standard has stayed the same. There have been many criticisms on compulsory heterosexuality and the idea that heterosexuality is the only real natural relationship. In the article, “Compulsory Heterosexuality and Lesbian Existence” by Adrienne Rich, she states that, “heterosexuality, like motherhood, needs to be recognized and studied as a political institution” (Rich 637). She argues that heterosexuality is politically institutionalized because it has been strategically and deliberately carried out by laws and regulations that restrains women and represses…

As human beings we are all entitled to our rights to have a family. Society’s image of a perfect heterosexual family is just a stereotype. Nowadays kids today do not live with two married parents. The sexual identity of a child with gay parents develops the same way with heterosexual parents. Most gay or lesbian children are born into a heterosexual family. Children are more impacted by the communication with their parents rather than the sexual identity of their parents. Even living in a homosexual household children adapt quite well with their peers. Growing up with two homosexual parents the child tend to believe in equal rights and is sympathy towards differences. Gay parents are not accidental parents so they are much more devoted and inclined versus heterosexual parents who became accidental parents. ”It has be stated that children can be successfully raised by same-sex couple with no adverse effects that would not have been present if raised by parents of the opposite sex.” (LGBT Adoption Statistics) Traditionally family beliefs are not adequate proof for…

This alteration continues present. Why do viewpoints of people change ? According to Giddens, sexual development and sexual satisfaction henceforth became bound to the reflexive project of the self (1991,164) (Gauntlett, 2008, p.110). Another arguement of Giddens; once sex was seperated from reproduction, sexual plesure and variety could come to the fore. Meantime contraception had a direct influence on heterosexuality, it had knock-on homosexual relation and sexuality, as the idea of sexual pleasure in society became more open and less riddled with apprehension. Also, although in traditional socities the substantial function of reproduction was surely focused on heterosexual couples, in more modern times, once reproduction had come under human control, heterosexuality lost its supremacy (Gauntlett, 2008, p.116). Finally according to PewResearch Center’s survey; among young people in specific, there is broad support for social acceptence of homosexuality. More than six-in-ten (63%) of those young than 50- 69% of those younger than 30- say that homosexuallity should be accepted. But acceptence of homosexuality is 52% of those older than 50. Therefore the acceptence of homosexuality will increase in the…

In The Modest Proposal published in 1729 by Dr. Jonathan Swift, he feels pity for the Irish in the sense that they have destroyed themselves by having children who cannot contribute to society. For example, Swift proposes that the Anglo-Irish should pity those when “ they see the streets, the roads and cabbin-doors crowded with beggars of the female sex, followed by three, four, or six children, all in rags.” The purpose for this was to show how children and mothers are unable to survive as men who have fathered the children have left, therefore people of higher class should be saddened by this sight. Next, Dr. Swift insists that the Irish “can neither employ them in handicraft or agriculture” most definitely meaning that the poor Irish peasants are not intelligent enough to find a suitable job to take care of their families. Likewise, this is caused by…
