GLORIA: (Goes up behind him covering his eyes). I have a surprise for you now.
FRANCISCO: Did I just win the lottery, please tell me you’re who I think you are?
GLORIA: (Hugs Francisco from behind). I never want to leave you again…
FRANCISCO: (Turns around to Gloria). Your heart has missed you. It has been like living in hell here without you.
GLORIA: (Sits down). Francisco, I’m thinking about taking your offer…
FRANCISCO: My offer? What offer?
GLORIA: Let’s run away together!

FRANCISCO: I’m leaving after your concert Gloria…
GLORIA: Stop playing around Francisco this isn’t funny!
(Then when Gloria opens her eyes all she sees is her reflection. The scene then cuts to the Church where all of Gloria’s close family and family friends are there. Victor stands next to Gloria as they welcome everyone in. After everyone is seated Victor makes an announcement.)
VICTOR: Thank you all for being here today. We were originally planning to have a final concert in Carnegie Hall, but Gloria and I both realized how much we missed you all, so we thought we would invite our closest friends and family to and to celebrate coming home.
(Just then Francisco barges in, yet he goes unnoticed in the crowd.)
VICTOR: (Clears throat). I don’t know if any of you remember or keep track, but today also is the anniversary of Maria’s passing, and I know she is so proud of our little girl Gloria, and tonight I hope you see why.
FRANCISCO: (Sits next to Gloria). So what will it be Ms. Prodigy? Can I be your page turner again?
GLORIA: I don’t know have you been practicing?

VICTOR: Do you remember what happened to her? You were only so young…
GLORIA: She got sick didn’t she? I just remember something changed in her…that was when she started yelling at you wasn’t it..?
VICTOR: Yes it was…
GLORIA: So what happened?
VICTOR: Your mother was diagnosed with…schizophrenia.
GLORIA: What? But schizophrenia doesn’t kill you…
VICTOR: No, not physically. It got so bad with your mother that she ran away. We looked all over for her…but when the police found her…it was too late…
GLORIA: That’s what’s happening to me isn’t it…
VICTOR: (Starts to cry and tightly hugs her). Oh my baby girl… (After a pause Victor let’s go and wipes the tears from his eyes and sees the tears in Gloria’s eyes).
GLORIA: Dad…what do I do?
VICTOR: I think it’s time. Do you remember the school you went to in Brussels? They have a facility up north…
GLORIA: Will I get better…?
VICTOR: They can help…
