Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind
SUMMARY
As a summary of this, it talks about on Imagination in our mind what we cannot at present see with our eyes. It talks about what other people I would want them to remember in my life. Someone who can give a sense of what I was as a person.
In the more general sense, it's the way we "see" the world not in terms of our visual sense of sight, but in terms of perceiving, understanding, and interpreting. Each of us tends to think we see things as they are that we are objective. But this is not the case. We see the world, not as it is, but as we are or as we are conditioned to see it.
Begin with the End in Mind means to begin each day, task, or project with a clear vision of your desired direction and destination, and then continue by flexing your proactive muscles to make things happen.
Now, “begin with the end in mind”, we have a person direction to guide our daily activities, without which we will accomplish little towards our own goals. It means
“a process of personal leadership, talking control of our own lives. As starting point of these, is to develop a personal mission statement. It will help to focus on what I want to be “my character”, “my contributions and achievements” and “the values and principles upon which my being and doing are based. A personal mission statement which gives me a changeless core from which I can deal with external change of my life.
According to Peter Drucker and Warren Bennis. “Management is doing things right”; “Leadership is doing the right things”. This means “we should be honest in our selves, because sometimes people find themselves
