While under the DAP form of learning they will have the opportunity to learn in many different ways, one that will best fit their learning abilities, while having fun. Research shows that children learn more while they are having fun. They are also able to retain more information. As a parents this are the things we want to see and hear after a long day at school. This is something that has not yet been seen under the mandated curriculum. Under the DAP, children are also able to learn responsibilities, learn at their own pace and in a way that best fits them. Excellent post, with taking the poster example from your direct practice in recognizing how evidence based practice has different ways of presenting information outside of nursing journals another form of dissemination. Nursing is a creative cultivating career with a variety of specialties to practice in. Which allows for many opportunities to grown and transition when the time is right. With all departments evidence base practice is recognized, supported, and demonstrated.
