Summary and response for Cell Addiction in Teens In the article, author Bill Schnarr talks about do the cell phones addicted to teens. Bill Schnarr compare the cell phone addiction and cigarette addiction to teens. In America, most teens have their own cell phones. And cell phones look not harmful to teens. Cell phone companies use the same marketing strategy as cigarette to gain the teens market. But some recent information shows that using cell phone maybe effect teens healthy. At the last part of article, author states that nothing can make sure that teens will addicted to cell phone. In my opinion, if teens use cell phone in the right way, they will not be addicted and cell phone will not influence their health. In one side, I think teens need to use cell phone for the limit time. Because the long time using cell phone is one important reason of getting cell phone addiction. If you smoke one time you won't be addicted. The same thing as cell phone, if you use cell phone 30 minutes a day how can you be addicted. There is no chance for a person who does not like using cell phone to be addicted. For me, I usually use my cell phone over 3 hours a day. Even I bring my cell phone to bed and if I do not use my cell phone before I sleep I can't be asleep. It becomes a big part of my life. Sometimes I will bring my cell phone to restroom and use it during lunch. So I think if I do not use so much time a day I will not be addicted. In another side, I think cell phone addiction will really bring teens some health problem. Because the mobile network and phone charging will bring teens different frequency radiation. And the LCD screen also has radiation and it will harm teens' eyes. Teens are a group of people who is growing and developing. They need care more on their health. Radiation is one of the causes of cancer. Although we don't know is it strong enough to influence teens' health, the negative feeling of long time cell phone using will

First of all, when I was a student in high school, there many students were bringing their phones with them inside school. Even though, bringing phones in school was not allowed, the students did not care so much about it. As a result of that, the administration of the school became so strict about this issue. For example, I remember the administration had issued some procedures to stop students from bringing their phones at school time so at the beginning of school time in the morning, there teachers, who were standing at the entrance of school, were inspecting students to make sure that they do not bring their phones during school time. Even though, the rigor of the administration in this issue was strict, there still students were bringing their phones. For example, during class time, there were two students, who had been caught while using their phones during class, said that they could not stay away from their phones even for a secant, and also they mentioned that they sometime slept while their phones were on and next them. All in all, this issue could be a hundred percent fixed because many of teen students are really addicted and hardly to be fixed.…

Firstly, I believe that cell phones are a good social way to keep in contact with friends and family for the following three reasons. A lot of teen’s need to keep in touch with their family and friends so they can know whether or not they have anything after school. Having a cell phone makes it easy for teen’s to talk to their friends and family on any day at any time. Lastly, if there is a sudden change with any plans they have, having a cell phone makes it easy to keep in contact. Therefore, for those reasons I believe cell phones are necessary in teens lives.…

I am on my phone more than half the day. However it does not get in the way of my social life. Denying the fact that teenagers spend too much time on their mobile phones and computers will be an injustice. It will be like lying to ourselves. Being a teenager myself, I willingly admit to the fact that we do spend too much time on our technologies. We cannot help it; with time, incredible inventions have mastered to better our lives and being born in the new generation, the youth have quickly adapted to the changes, particularly the teenagers. While others think this habit is full of catches, it has got its perks as well.…

As a teenager having a cellphone distracts me on a daily basis. For instance, when having a conversation with someone it makes it hard for me to concentrate to what the person in front of me is saying when an incoming message is sent. Also, having a cellphone beside you while doing your homework is not a great idea. While doing your homework you can randomly get a text message or a notification which makes it hard to focus on your work and easy to get distracted by your phone. So instead of doing your homework you will probably be playing a game on your phone. In addition to getting distracted while doing homework, teenagers also get distracted while doing their chores. This can lead them to not getting their chores done and later on getting in trouble by their parents. In brief, being a teenager and having a cellphone distracts me in many ways and most likely distracts other teenagers as well.…

Teenagers of today have their heads in the phone and their fingers going a mile a minute is considered the norm. Since when did hanging out in town become a normal thing to do for teens? Nowadays teenagers don’t even have to go anywhere with their friends because they can talk to all of them at the same time without even moving an inch. Teenagers these days don’t have an outside world because their worlds are DIGITIAL! I am not sure that teenagers today would know how to survive without all of the gadgets like cell-phones, computers and don’t forget about good old Facebook in the olden days. So if you won’t leave the computer, cell-phone, IPOD or all of the 3 for long enough to sit down and eat dinner with your family, go to a football game or even go to a party with your friends then chances are you have a problem, you are addicted to technology. I think that most teenagers in today’s century are addicted to technology. Is this even possible? Is technology as much of a problem than alcohol or drugs? I am beginning to think that is very possible and highly likely. Although it is nice to be able to get in touch with friends whenever we want, it is also scary to think that Facebook and cell-phones can be very harmful to us.…
