Synopsis:
On 5/26/2018, the victim was inside room #39 at the Grand Blvd Motel. The victim was expecting his friend, Isidro Cintron, to come over so the two could smoke marijuana. The victim advised that Isidro knocked on his door at which time he let him in and locked his entrance door behind him. The victim advised that after walking towards the rear of the motel room he observed Isidro unlock the front door of the motel room at which time a masked subject entered the Motel room pointing an object resembling a small handgun at the victim. The victim provided me with a voluntary statement reference the incident. The victim advised that he was expecting his friend, Isidro Cintron, to come over so the two could smoke marijuana. The victim advised that Isidro knocked on his door at which time he looked through the window and observed Isidro. The victim stated that he initially had a weird feeling because Isidro typically wears a white tank top, however was wearing a dark shirt on this night. The victijm stated that he let Isidro into the room and locked his entrance door behind him. The victim advised that after walking towards the rear of the motel room he looked back and observed Isidro unlock the front door of the motel room. The victim stated that as soon as Isidro unlocked the front door a masked subject entered the Motel room pointing an object resembling a small handgun in his left hand towards the victim. The victim advised that due to his prior military training he knew that the gun was fake and told the masked suspect to shoot him. The victim stated that he knew “it was a BS gun” and began to laugh at the suspects. The victim advised at this time Isidro and the masked subject began punching and kicking him as he fell to the floor in the rear of the motel room. The victim stated that Isidro had him held from behind stating “where is the safe”. The victim stated that he yelled for help at which time Isidro placed his hands over the victim’s mouth. Additionally victim revealed a text message that he sent to a phone number believed to belong to Christopher Lawrence. The victim sent a photograph of cash asking Christopher to come work with him at a boat detailer so he could make “real money”. The victim advised that he did not receive a response from the message that he sent. The victim advised that the brothers normally drive a black Cadillac four door sedan. A computer search via DAVID revealed a black 2007 Cadillac (Florida license plate # 1247VX) was registered to Robert Lawrence who resides at the same residence as Christopher and Nicholas. Sergeant Lush with the Port Richey Police Department advised that the Tarpon Springs Police department attempted contact at the listed residence for the Lawrence’s which yielded negative
