Amanda followed Indwick as he guided her through the thick and tremendous piles of snow.
The frost and snow was up to her thighs she continued to press on through the bitter cold. While this was mildly unpleasant and her teeth would chatter every so often Amanda still was happy to finally be back on the surface of a planet once more. After her last space ferrying trip off a world she decided that she was very fortunate to at least be standing firmly on solid ground once more.

The very air of the building filled with the smell of burning incense and what appeared to smell as rotten flesh. She gazed around the tainted sanctum. She could all sorts of nightmarish horrors around her. Strange markings were engraved upon the walls and appeared as ghastly ghouls starring at her. She could see the skin of faces that were peeled off others decorated upon the walls as if they were ornamental. Skeletons were hanged up high by hooks and skulls were impaled on pikes and stuck up from the corners of the walls for decoration. Even the torches that illuminated the very walls glowed with a strange red hue and were unlike any type of flame she has ever witnessed before.
“Well, there is no turning back now.”
As she walked around the temple she tried her best to avoid coming into contact with the abominations she was witnessing. Instead Amanda simply kept her hands to herself and proceeded to search around for any person who could direct her or give her information. Eventually however she came upon a man who was wearing on strange spiked clothing and wore upon himself the markings she saw upon the walls.

She did so and walked in. After this the door was closed behind her and she could hear it being locked. Inside she could see more unexplainable happenings than what she previously saw as she entered the temple. All manner of individuals were worshipping around an alter and she could see their eyes glowing as if they were possessed by a mystical force. Some of them stood around and jerked their bodies as a strange aura flowed around them. She could see the alter in the middle of the room and it was filled with what she could only assume was actual blood. Next to the alter was what appeared to be a religious figurehead directing worship to the nearby followers. He was preaching allowed as he recited scripture from a large book held on a pedestal.
