The author Frank Trippets states that ‘Americans are used to thinking that law-and-order is threatened by only violent crime, but the foundation of social order are profoundly shaken when ordinary law-abiding take to skirting the law’. The author has some valid points when he says this. Small laws can hurt the community when people who regularly obey the law are breaking the law in small ways. People are just to used to hearing about the big crimes that people just might not give a damn about the small laws. Some people who might be against this will probably say that the law obeying people are accidentally breaking the small laws, because they don’t know them. That may be true but that’s just being ignorant if you don’t know the laws
