The name of my book is Curtains by R.L. Stine. This book is about a girl named Rena. She is into plays like Broadway. So in the beginning she is in a play and does good acting in her play. In the play she acts like she has to kill her friend chip. Chip jokes with her about it and a person named Bax comes up to them. Bax is the director of the plays. Bax informs Rena that she will be taking the star role. Rena was excited about her promotion. Then Rena herd this girl shouting angrily about the decision of the director. Her name was Hedy, Her and Rena where not friends. Rena and this girl get into an argument the day of the play.

This book is about a kid named Michael who stops a robber named ramon by throwing a baseball at the back of his head when he runs across the baseball field Michael was playing on. The cop that handcuffed Ramon is telling Michael what a good arm he has and should find a baseball team to play for. He finds a little lead team called the Clippers that his friend Manny plays for.     Summary & Theme: The book Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson is about an incoming freshman named Melinda Sordino. She’s riding the bus to school but she doesn’t have any friends to sit with. While she’s looking over the crowd of kids on the bus she spots her ex best friend, Rachel, but even she mouths “I hate you.” After Melinda attends her first few classes she already hates high school. When she gets to Art class she is assigned a subject that she must turn into art for the rest of the year. Melinda receives the word “Tree” and doesn’t understand how to make that creative.
