The first type of joke the author(s) go into are sexual jokes. Even though they say “Plenty of women are in movies where sexual jokes are made”, the writer goes on to list movies with sexual jokes dominated by actors. The writer(s) goes on to give examples validate that women can make it socially acceptable and funny when sexual jokes come from a females mouth, espically about female gentalia. The media has it so they want us to think women do not poop, urinate, pass gas or have hair on their body. The writer(s) go on to list some more male dominated movies and roles that have to do with poop jokes. Bridesmaids completly disgregards that and shows how human women are. Possibly the most well known scene in the film is where the whole bridal party gets food poisoning while trying on dresses. The article goes on to say “Megan (Melissa McCarthy), has diarrhea in the sink, Rita throws up in the toilet, Becca throws up on Rita’s head, and Lillian (Maya Rudolph), the bride, defecates herself in the middle of the street as she runs for a toilet.” These actresses were able to bring the true human element as well as bring comedy with old and childish poop
