Leading into reading the book Milkweed, I had mixed emotions. Milkweed, not being my first choice, and not looking too interesting by the cover, turned out to be a very good book. In the book Milkweed, by Jerry Spinelli, a young boy named Misha, looks for his direction in life, while searching for his past in the midst of the historical event, the Holocaust. You should read this book because, the main character Misha, is near the same age you are, the vocabulary and wording of the book is very easy to understand and follow, and the book provides a glimpse of what the life of a young boy could be like at the time of the Holocaust.
