On the iPhone, I understood why they put the camera interface on the bottom right corner. They did this because people use their phones to take pictures a lot, so putting it in the bottom made it so much easier to use. This time at Pratt, I had to make a room divider. At first, we used paper to make a model of it. We could do whatever we want. Then we had to draw a mood board. A lot of people wrote messages on it or draw beautiful images. Brainwash and Andy Warhol. I like their works a lot. Although their art works are always debatable, thus some people might even don’t like them. The best thing about them is that they are all simple and clear, and the most important is they tell the people the idea directly. Numerous people don’t get why would Mr. Brainwash be so ridiculously famous and successful, and some people even hate him. However, his works and he are even much more popular. Some people buy his works because they just want to hang it in the bathroom and look at it while taking a shit. The story behinds his works and the beautiful simple image, we have to say they are just too good to be just an art work. Andy Warhol, the godfather of pop art, tells story and message through his simple and easy to understand works. 2014 summer I was in New York. To see their works in person, I felt incredibly amazed. The real size, texture, brush line, the harmony of colors, etc. I could felt why and how Mr. Brainwash and Andy made them. Just like sometimes I feel like I must express something in my mind through my art works, or a message I what to tell. Therefore, in my opinion art works are not just all about how gorgeous it is, but also the message within and how it catches the people. Communication design has a really important purpose, which is to help the idea or the product to express
