Summary Of S. E. Hilton's Short Story 'The Outsiders'

In S.E. Hilton’s short story “The outsiders” is about a boy named Ponyboy Curtis life in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ponyboy lives with his two older brothers, Darrel and Sodapop. His parents died when he was younger from a wreck. Throughout the book, the author talked about the towns two rival gangs, the Greasers and the Socs. The Greasers are the lower class white people who are considered hoods or juvenile delinquents by society and the Socs are the higher class white people who are the rich kids from the West Side. Ponyboy and Johnny boy get into a fight with a couple of Socs and Johnny ends up killing a socs.
