Aengus from,”Song of Wandering Aengus,” Ernesto Galarza from,”Barrio Boy,” and Annie Johnson from,” New Directions.” They all have to face challenges to accomplish their goals. Aengus wants to find his true love the glimmering girl. Ernesto wants to graduate school and become American. Annie Johnson wants to take care by feeding her family and workers. Aengus was looking for the glimmering girl to kiss her.Aengus was trying to find his love the glimmering girl who was a fish but transformed into a glimmering girl. It states,” I went to blow the fire a flame but something rustled on the floor and someone called my name it has become a glimmering girl.” Which is referring to the fish that Aengus caught which turned into the glimmering girl.
