Summary Of Speech By David Mccullough
We all have a purpose in life, and it's not to follow others or do what society thinks is right. What we do in life ultimately doesn't matter. Our happiness is the only thing that matters. We aren't special, we all have the same fortune as one another. It’s to look inside yourself and do what you love while doing it around people that you love and enjoy hanging around. In the speech, David Mccullough Jr., state young people need to be proud of their hard work also humble. Mccullough says the universe does not revolve around us, that we need to learn new things for the sake of expanding yourself and growing as an individual not try to outdo the next guy. We aren't special, we shouldn't feel entitled to special things. We should do things, good
things, for others because it's right. Not to feed superiority in an endless quest to make ourselves feel even more of a snowflake.
