Summary Of The Bomb By Theodore Taylor

The title of my book is,The Bomb by Theodore Taylor. There are two main characters in my book. The first character is, Sorry Rinamu. He is caring because he is going to try to stop the American Soldiers from dropping the first “test bomb”. He is smart because when he hears that the Americans are going to drop a test bomb, he knows that when they leave and then come back the island and the water will be poisoned and filled with nuclear waste. The American Soldiers are evil because they aren’t being honest about the bomb. They are sorta caring because they told them to move from the island. The setting of my story takes place on Bikini Atoll Island. My book takes place in several different years such as 1933, 1942, 1944, and 1946. The
story most significant time of the story is in the morning. The conflict was about how the Americans would drop a bomb. Sorry knew that they were lying. They left the island only to come back to come back. The resolution is that they came back to the island and lived there for 10 years. But they had to leave due to toxic chemicals in the water.
The book starts where the American soldiers tell them to move from the island and they will be able to return. But Sorry and Abram know that they are lying. After that was a normal morning, but then everything went chaotic. People were happy, people were scared, but Sorry was mad. Then he saw the military planes and started to feel the need to save his people. At the end the bombers don't notice the canoe and they died in the blast. They come back to the island in 1969 and stay for ten years, but they find radioactive material left over by the bomb, and they leave the island again.
I find this book a 5/5. The details of the book are very clear. The storyline makes sense. And all the action supports it all.
